This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellation requests and refunds for farming participations made through Aveola Farms. We are committed to transparency, fairness, and clear communication in all our agricultural projects.

By using the Aveola Farms platform and participating in any farming project, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.


Nature of Farming Participation and Associated Risks

Participation on Aveola Farms involves financial contributions toward real-world agricultural operations. These activities:

  • Support active farming production and development

  • Are subject to natural, climatic, market, and operational risks

  • Often involve medium- to long-term farming cycles

  • Do not guarantee yields, profits, or financial returns

Participants are encouraged to carefully review each project’s details, timelines, and risk disclosures before participating.


Cancellation Requests & Cooling-Off Period

Cooling-Off Period

Aveola Farms provides a forty-eight (48) hour cooling-off period after a farming participation is confirmed.

During this period:

  • Participants may request cancellation for any reason

  • A full refund of the participation capital is available

  • No penalties or administrative fees apply

The cooling-off period begins immediately after transaction confirmation and ends forty-eight (48) hours later.

How to Request Cancellation (Cooling-Off Period)

To request cancellation within the cooling-off period:

  1. Log in to your Aveola Farms account

  2. Navigate to your Dashboard

  3. Select the relevant participation

  4. Click “Request Cancellation”

  5. Provide a brief reason and submit

Once approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within five (5) to seven (7) business days.


Cancellation Requests After the Cooling-Off Period

After the cooling-off period has expired, farming participations are generally considered active and non-refundable, as funds may have already been allocated to agricultural operations.

However, Aveola Farms allows participants to submit a cancellation request for administrative review under exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation Request Process

  • Each participation card in the user dashboard includes a “Request Cancellation” button

  • Users must provide a reason for the request

  • The participation status will update to:
    “Cancellation Requested – Pending Approval”

Administrative Review

Admin review may consider:

  • Participation duration

  • Time elapsed since participation

  • Project stage and fund deployment status

  • Reason provided by the participant

  • Impact on farm operations and other participants

Outcomes

  • If Approved

    • Participation is cancelled

    • Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to platform rules

    • Refund amounts may exclude fees, costs already incurred, or non-recoverable expenses

  • If Denied

    • Participation continues as originally agreed

    • No refund is issued

All admin decisions are final, subject to applicable laws.


Project Cancellation or Significant Changes

If a farming project is cancelled or materially altered before or during operations, including:

  • Significant changes to scope or timelines

  • Suspension or termination of farming activities

  • Major deviations from disclosed project terms

Aveola Farms will:

  • Notify affected participants promptly

  • Provide clear explanations of the situation

  • Offer appropriate options, which may include:

    • Full or partial refunds

    • Reallocation to another farming project

    • Continuation under revised terms

Refunds, where applicable, may exclude non-recoverable costs already incurred.


Refund Processing Timelines

For approved refunds:

  • Acknowledgment of request: within three (3) business days

  • Review period (if required): up to fourteen (14) business days

  • Refund processing: five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval

Refunds are typically issued through the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on payment providers or financial institutions.


Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Platform service or administrative fees

  • Third-party payment processing charges

  • Any yields, proceeds, or benefits already distributed

  • Participations where funds have been fully deployed

  • Projects clearly marked as non-refundable prior to participation


Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

If you suspect unauthorized or fraudulent activity on your account:

  • Contact Aveola Farms support immediately

  • Provide relevant transaction details

  • Complete any required verification steps

If fraud is confirmed, a full refund will be processed where applicable, and appropriate security measures will be taken.


Disputes and Resolution

If you disagree with a refund or cancellation decision, you may:

  • Request a review through customer support

  • Submit additional supporting information

  • Escalate the matter via our dispute resolution process

Aveola Farms aims to resolve disputes fairly and in compliance with applicable laws. Unresolved matters may be referred to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.


Changes to This Policy

Aveola Farms reserves the right to update this policy at any time.

  • Changes take effect once published on the platform

  • Significant updates will be communicated via email or platform notifications

  • New participations are subject to the updated policy

  • Existing participations remain governed by the policy in effect at the time of participation
