Farming Participation Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to Aveola Farms. These Farming Participation Terms and Conditions govern your participation in agricultural farming projects offered on our platform. By proceeding to farm with us on any listed project, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not participate through the platform.
Aveola Farms provides access to real agricultural projects where outcomes are dependent on farming performance and prevailing market conditions.
Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms:
Aveola Farms refers to the agricultural farming platform and its operators
Participant refers to any individual or entity that farms with Aveola Farms through financial contribution
Platform refers to the Aveola Farms website and related services
Farm Project refers to any agricultural project listed on the platform
Farming Participation refers to funds committed to a specific farm project
Farm Outcomes refer to proceeds, yields, profits, or losses resulting from a farm project
Participation Acknowledgement
By farming with Aveola Farms on the platform, you acknowledge and confirm that:
You understand the nature of agricultural farming activities and their inherent risks
You have reviewed all relevant farm project details before participating
Participation is linked to specific farming cycles
Outcomes depend on crop yield, farm operations, and market prices
Farming Structure and Duration
Farming participations on the platform are structured as follows:
Participation may be per unit, per crop, or per project
Each participation is tied to a defined farming cycle
Funds are committed for the full duration of the farming cycle
Early withdrawal is not permitted before the farming cycle is completed
Farm Outcomes and Payouts
Farm outcomes are subject to agricultural performance and market conditions:
Payouts are based on the agreed revenue-sharing or profit-sharing model
Outcomes are calculated after harvest, processing, and sale of produce
Payment timelines may be affected by processing, logistics, or market conditions
Aveola Farms does not guarantee fixed, minimum, or risk-free outcomes
Risk Disclosure
You acknowledge that farming participation involves risks, including but not limited to:
Weather variability and climate-related conditions
Pest infestations and crop diseases
Market price fluctuations
Operational, logistical, and supply chain challenges
While Aveola Farms applies reasonable risk management and mitigation strategies, losses may still occur. In the event of significant disruptions or force majeure events, participants will be informed where practicable.
Refund Policy
The following refund terms apply:
Farming participation becomes non-refundable once the farming cycle has commenced
Refunds may be issued only if a farm project is cancelled before planting or operational start
Duplicate or erroneous transactions may be refunded if reported within seven (7) days of payment
Participant Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete personal and payment information
Update your details within fourteen (14) days of any changes
Comply with applicable agricultural, financial, and regulatory laws
Use the platform responsibly, ethically, and lawfully
Payments and Payouts
Farming participation is completed using approved payment methods on the platform
Farm outcomes are credited according to the project’s payout schedule
Payout requests are subject to platform rules and applicable processing timelines
Fees and Charges
Aveola Farms may charge administrative, operational, or service-related fees
Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before participation confirmation
Fees may be deducted from farm outcomes where applicable
Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data is collected solely for farming participation processing and communication
Data is handled in accordance with the Aveola Farms Privacy Policy
Information is not shared with third parties except where legally required or operationally necessary
Termination and Amendments
Aveola Farms reserves the right to:
Amend these Farming Participation Terms with prior notice
Suspend or terminate participation in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of terms
Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
Parties shall first attempt resolution through good-faith discussions
Unresolved disputes shall proceed to mediation
If mediation fails, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration
Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration Act, 2010 (Act 798) of Ghana
Proceedings shall be held in Accra, Ghana, and conducted in English
The arbitral decision shall be final and binding
Limitation of Liability
Farming participation is undertaken at your own risk
Aveola Farms shall not be liable for losses arising from normal agricultural or market risks
Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted under Ghanaian law
